After finding the skeleton key and realizing that it matched the chest from the guest room. Heike and Devan didn’t waste any time, making for the guest room; eager to find out what has been hidden within the chest. Upon opening, the first item to be revealed was journals, very old-looking journals.

Gingerly taking one of the journals out and opening it, the pages were old, with calligraphy style writing. The paper looked to be made out of thick parchment and bound in leather. Glancing over the writing, the writing appeared to be old English and from the glance appeared to be a personal journal of someone.

I present today’s 130 word challenge prompt and a continuation of my previous prompt ‘Key’. Let me know what you think to today’s challenge, down in the comment section.
